A little background… In 2009, I toured the scrapbook convention circuit with Ribbon Ring. I decorated my booth with platters of ribbon cupcakes. These cupcakes happened one night when I was playing around with my other passion, baking. I was making chocolate ribbon curls for some cupcakes and it occurred to me that I had some ribbon that was the perfect color of chocolate… The rest is history… Ribbon cupcake love.  Around the country, the ribbon cupcakes stole the show.  I was overwhelmed with requests for instructions on how to make these sweet treats so I partnered with Leisure Arts publishing and "A Notion to Celebrate" was born.

In addition to my famous ribbon cupcakes, there are step-by-step instructions for making truffles, cakes, Halloween projects, Christmas (can you say gingerbread house?!?!) projects, wedding décor and a ton of other super stinking cute goodies that will make you smile.
